Joseph Braunstein holds over 30 years of progressive financial and business management experience. Throughout his career, Joseph has demonstrated exceptional leadership combined with a strong record of improving financial results, utilizing strong team building, refining performance metrics, and focusing on execution. As a senior executive at multiple insurance companies, Joseph’s key areas of expertise include vision and strategy, financial discipline, culture change, people development, process reengineering and innovation. Prior to starting his consulting career, Joseph was President and CEO of Sunshine State Insurance Company; a Florida based insurance company with direct written premium of $80 million and 62,000 policies in force. Before Sunshine State, Joseph was Senior Vice President at Allstate Insurance Company where he was responsible for strategy, plan, and execution of the Independent Agency channel for all Allstate Products and Services. In addition, he was responsible for the development of alternative distribution channels including a startup strategy for the placement of Allstate Exclusive Agencies in Auto Dealerships throughout the U.S. Joseph was also President and COO of Cypress Insurance Group and Crum & Foster Insurance Companies for four and eight years, respectively, where he played a key role overseeing the production and underwriting of all related business and advancing in-house servicing and technology operations. Joseph’s career began at INA/CIGNA Insurance Companies, serving first as an underwriter, progressing to a senior leadership role as Senior Vice President. Joseph is affiliated with a number of entities serving on the boards of organizations such as the Academy of Insurance and Risk Management, the Holy Ghost Preparatory School, and the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Joseph earned his B.S from Drexel University and attended the Wharton Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania. |
