Warren May joined TAG Financial in June 2023 as a Senior Advisor after 44 years of leadership in the financial services profession. Prior to joining TAG, Warren owned and managed an Atlanta based regional, multiple-line, independent insurance agency established by his father in 1933. After the sale of the firm in 1995, and for the next 24 years, he held senior executive roles with Travelers Life & Annuity, Jefferson Pilot Financial, Lincoln Financial Group and Principal Financial Group. His responsibilities included leadership of the sales, marketing, strategic planning and profitability management for the distribution of life, annuity and ancillary product lines across multiple distribution channels. Warren remains active within the financial services profession through leadership and support roles within key national trade associations. His history includes, with the support of others, championing the mergers of multiple key associations into a single enterprise that now represent over 10,500 financial services professionals across all distribution channels. He is also active with The United Way of Greenbrier Valley and other local community organizations. Warren is a graduate of The University of South Carolina with a degree in Finance and Insurance. He also completed the Executive Management and Finance programs at the Harvard Business School. |
